In 2023, I moved from Delhi to Varanasi, not knowing that this city would slowly become such an important part of my story.
It was here that, over time, I came to know many women around me, each with a story that quietly stayed with me. Some had lost their partners. Some were caring for loved ones who could no longer earn. Some were simply trying to find a way to support their families and create a little more security for their children.
I realized that not every woman works by choice. For many, work means putting food on the table, educating their children, caring for their families, and rebuilding life with dignity.
Each journey was different, but there was something I saw in all of them - the quiet determination to keep moving forward.
At the same time, I was building The Good Grind - a brand rooted in real ingredients, honest food, and the belief that what we make should have meaning beyond the kitchen.
As The Good Grind grows, so does my hope of creating meaningful, flexible work that allows these women to earn with dignity while balancing the responsibilities they carry every day.
Today, every jar is prepared with care by hands that reflect resilience and pride. And when you choose The Good Grind, you're choosing food made with real ingredients while becoming a small part of a story that reaches beyond the kitchen.
Thank you for believing that good food can create good change.
May every spoonful nourish your family,
and every jar help another family flourish.
With Gratitude,
The Good Grind
